To add a community support dimension to our event, we are again hosting a Robots to the Rescue Food Drive. Our goal is to increase access to nutritious food that will be donated to a local food pantry.
The pantry does not have the ability to store refrigerated products. Shelf stable products packed with protein are always needed. Examples of items are peanut butter, tuna fish, canned meat/meals, microwave ready meals, dry, canned milk (or Stewart's milk certificates), boxes of macaroni and cheese, etc.YOUR team can make a difference!
Start spreading the word and begin collecting the food drive favorites as outlined below. .Non-Perishable Food- Canned Protein (tuna, chicken)
- Canned Entrees (beef stew, ravioli)
- Canned Fruit in Juice
- Canned Spaghetti Sauce
- Canned Soup
- Cereal
- Canned 100% Juice
- Peanut Butter and Jelly
Non-Food Items- Bathroom Tissue
- Paper Towels
Avoid- Home Canned Food
- Outdated Food
- Food without Labels
- Refrigerated Items
